Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information AcreWorks, operated by Nick McFerren as a sole proprietor ("we", "us", or "our"), collects when you use our calculators, market data, and related services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Data sharing with our payment processor

When you purchase a subscription, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and acts as an independent data controller for payment, billing, tax compliance, fraud prevention, and invoicing. Paddle handles all payment data directly; we do not receive or store your full card details. See Paddle's privacy notice for details.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide. Inputs you type into our calculators (e.g., acreage, yields, loan terms) are processed in your browser to produce results. If you create an account or subscribe, we collect your email address and billing details handled by our payment processor.
  • Automatically collected information. Like most websites we automatically receive your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This data is collected through server logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We and our partners use cookies, local storage, and pixels to remember preferences (such as theme), measure traffic, and serve relevant advertising.

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To personalize content and remember your preferences.

9. Your choices and rights

  • Cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Disabling cookies may affect parts of the Service.
  • Marketing emails. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.
